Our clarinet player has moved on. Ian is now a percussionist. (Is that a word?) He was not enjoying the clarinet at all but didn't want to quit band (and we didn't want that either) so he moved to his original first choice. And he's loving it!!! Last night he practiced for over an hour! (My head still hurts!) We are glad he's having fun!

I love it! Ian's Bloom side is shining through! "Rhythm 'n Beat: he speaks his heart through his music" just like his old granddad and his Uncle Sam.
Ok, I just laughed out loud at mom's comment. From now on I'm referring to Dad as "ol' Rhythm 'n Beat."
ps, Ian looks very serious and professional! hard to do in your underwear.
Oooh, he's playing vibes! How exciting! And yes, "percussionist" is the correct nomenclature for our young friend.
