When they asked if they could put on dress-up clothes and go outside, I didn't realize they were going to go door to door saying "Trick-or-Treat early!" They had made it almost around the cul-de-sac before I realized what they were up to. They were thrilled because some people actually gave them candy. I was mortified! God knows what the neighbors think of my parenting skills...
