Ian's last day of school was also his last day of elementary school. While he didn't seem to mind, it was very hard for me! Next year he'll be in a school with 17 and 18 year olds!! I just can't believe that! These are some pictures from the last day of school - the awards ceremony where he got a trophy for honor roll and a medal for science club, and the 6th grade party. There was much yearbook signing and DDR playing by him and his friends! I also included a video of the teachers talking to the kids about what kind of behavior they expected at the party and a video of the kids being turned loose...just because I found them amusing and they made me soooo glad I don't teach 6th or 7th grade! So here's a shout out to my favorite Ian and the AWESOME job he's done at school over the past seven years!
PS The picture of the lion is a mural the 6th graders made. They each wrote their favorite part of elementary school on a piece of paper and put it together to make this lion.

Nice job and congrats, Ian Boy! Can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
I'm so proud of Ian...and I love the video of the boys watching the screen and doing what looks like dancing!
